Her mother was a fan of Takarazuka and Snow Troupe, so she vaguely wanted to join as a child.
Passed the entrance exam on the first try. Though originally intended to attend the music college, followed her mothers advice and took the exam for TMS.
She originally wanted to play otokoyaku, but because she was short and had a high voice, she ended up becoming a musumeyaku.
Top musumeyaku Umino Mitsuki was absent from the Tokyo run of Flügel / A Kaleidoscope of Life from 11/07 to 11/10. Irodori Michiru covered the lead musumeyaku role of Nadia Schneider in Flügel, as well as several of Umino's scenes in A Kaleidoscope of Life (Scene 5, Young Lady Akiko; Scenes 16-17, City Girl S; Scenes 20-21, A Certain Lady). Irodori was understudied by Nanano Ari in Flügel, and by Kiyora Haryuu (Scene 7, Moga) and Hanahime Manon (Scene 15, City Girl Singer) in A Kaleidoscope of Life.
