Other

  • She began as an otokoyaku because of her height, and then switched to being a musumeyaku in her first year.
  • Was the lead musumeyaku of Star Troupe in 1967-70 and of Moon Troupe in 1971-75. But there was no official naming of this position as "top star" at this time, and in the broadcast about The Rose of Versailles III she was called "the prima donna of Takarazuka".
  • After the Third European Tour she played Marie-Antoinette for the second time with Star Troupe and immediately afterward left Takarazuka to get married.
  • When she played Sophie in the Toho production of Elisabeth (with Ichiro Maki as Elisabeth) in 2000, it was her first stage role in 24 years.
  • She is the namesake of Hatsukaze Midori, the niece of her close friend Minou Yutaka.
  • Тhe Russian poetess Larisa Rubalskaya, who was the guide and translator of 'Zuka actresses in the USSR, mentioned Hatsukaze Jun in her memoirs, including the meeting with her in Tokyo thirty years after the Soviet tour.
