Addio Amore
Piero, who works in the villa's of the rich, gets to know the blind flower-seller Maria. When Piero learns that he was the cause of the accident that lost Maria her sight, he becomes an accomplice to a jewel robbery in order to raise money to pay for Maria's treatment and disappears. Some years later, Maria's eyesight has been cured and she is standing int the limelight as a new singer.
