    Out of curiosity, who or what are they encouraging? I looked at the page for the 2001 Flower Troupe concert, but it didn't really clue me in.

    I understand that the company is encouraging (basically) young 'siennes. Or maybe it's a concert that fans encourage young members. So...the name should be 'Encouraging Concert', to be precise? ^^;

    I suspect it's the usual "use an English/French word randomly to make something sound hip". The 'siennes who sing in these types of concerts are in general not the ones who get the limelight on stage (at least, that's how it seems to me), so maybe they're encouaging themselves? ;)
