    how do I make my username a link when posting on the forums? there are people whos names are links and in blue, but some of them (including mine) are only in black. is there some way to change that?

    A person's username is only a link when her user information is set to public, which yours is now (don't worry, it won't reveal your email address or anything like that). It hasn't made your username into a link automatically in previous fora posts, but from now on it should appear as a link to your userinfo/messaging page. Try replying to this thread and if it doesn't work I'll go into it further. :)

    There used to be an option in the preferences section that allowed others to message you. I can't seem to find it, although possibly making your user information public is the first step.

    It may have changed with the latest tiki upgrades; I'll talk to the admin about it. :)
