Singing Lovebirds
Adaptation and Direction by Koyanagi Naoko
Released in 1939, the Japanese film "Singing Lovebirds" is an operetta movie directed by renowned program picture director Makino Masahiro, starring Kataoka Chiezō. We will deliver a gorgeous musical unique to the Takarazuka Revue about the happenings of Asai Reisaburou, a frugal ronin living in Nagoya, and his neighbour's daughter Oharu's fight for love, together with the lord Minezawa Tanba Nokami's fervent obsession with antiques.
Please look forward to the first stage performance of this renowned operetta comedy masterpiece in Japanese film history.

This is a revue performance with its beauty and glamour unique to Takarazuka Revue, full of great dreams and love, rich in character and fragrant taste. With Yuzuka Rei as the centre, Flower Troupe will be performing scenes constructed with famous canzone music and dance scenes showing Flower Troupe's charm full of vitality.
