Golden Liberty

Late nineteenth century, America. Jesse, a former member of the Wild Bunch, a train robbery gang, is approached by a man named Lyman who asks him to steal government gold coins being transported on the transcontinental railroad. Jesse had gone straight after the gang broke up, so he refuses to join at first, but reluctantly agrees to join when threatened with exposure. After gathering a team and meticulously planning the heist, he makes his play. However, due to a mistake by the railroad company, a military unit ends up on the same train, leading to an unexpected shootout. But Jesse still manages to reach the freight car to steal the gold.

When he finally opens the door, there is no safe or gold bars: there’s only a woman hiding in the car, clutching an old battered case to herself. Under the soldiers’ merciless hail of gunfire, Jesse quickly grabs the woman’s hand and they jump onto a circus train that happens to be passing by, narrowly escaping. The woman, Annalea, clings to the battered case that she claims is a diplomatic pouch, used to transport state secrets. Unable to dismiss the possibility of treasure, Jesse looks for an opportunity to steal the battered case, but he struggles to find an opening on the train packed with circus performers. Forced together with Annalea against their will, Jesse gradually finds himself entangled in a major national conspiracy...

A musical adventure starring the members of Moon Troupe, led by the new top pair An Hozuki and Juri Amashi portraying a train robber and a woman on a secret mission to America. As they face looming dangers together, their attraction gradually grows in this thrilling production that will have you on the edge of your seat.
