Soar, Arabian Night
Kamararzaman and Abriza's uncle and aunt have taken over Babylonia, killing their father, exiling their mother, and selling the youn man and woman into slavery. Both go for outrageous sums on the slave market in Baghdad, because the rich Grenal and Paman are each determined to out-bid one another. Paman wins Kamararzaman, while Grenal wins Abriza. Later, Grenal and her household are shocked to find that Abriza is not the delicate thing she appears to be, but rather is a very crude young lady.
In Paman's household, his three eldest daughters tease and torment their youngest sister, who had a different mother. Kamararzaman feels very sorry for her, and tries to cheer her up.
Meanwhile, Grenal is worried about her eternal competition with Paman. Overhearing this, Abriza ingeniously tells them she knows of a map to a fabled treasure. Her father gave this map to Kamararzaman before he died. Grenal convinces Abriza to go and talk her brother into giving up the map. In return, she will give Abriza her freedom. Grenal's son tries to talk Abriza out of it, telling her that the treasure of her country and her family should not be given to his silly mother, who just wants a victory over Paman. He explains that when they were younger, Paman and Grenal were in love, but Paman then went and married someone else. Abriza is determined to help Grenal. however.
In Paman's house, his astrologist and magician appears, along with an old woman. Paman has learned of the map. Kamararzaman learns that Pelome, the magician, has stolen his mother's eyes. Pelome has a fondness for eating old eyes. Instead of giving up the map, Kamararzaman tries to trade his eyes for his mother's, but Pelome won't hear of it. In the end, despite his mother's protests, he hands over the map. Maimuun gets her eyes back, and the two are freed. Kamararzaman and his mother determine to go to Babylonia to rescue their country, and Jawara goes with them.
When Abriza learns about all this, she tricks the magician into shrinking himself very small, and swallows him. She now has the map. With him in her belly, she orders him to help her get to Babylonia quickly. Paman and Surrel come with her on the flying carpet.
In Babylon, Mustafa and Rabe threaten Maimuun, and tell Kamararzaman to give them the map. They aren't happy to lelarn that he has already given it away. Just as Kamararzaman is about to be killed, Surrel and Paman arrive with the map. Abriza, unfortunately, fell off the carpet and is some way behind them. But Surrel gives the map to Kamararzaman, who in turn hands it over to Mustafa. Just as his aunt and uncle begin to celebrate their victory, however, Abriza arrives to save the day.
