    Hi, everybody! I'm Meg, the TakaWiki admin. My ID on the site is MerryShannon. I've been a fan of Takarazuka for a couple of years now, but I still have a lot to learn! And that's why I wanted to put this site together... There are so many people out there who know so much more than I do, and it would be great to get all this information together in one place. :)

    I hope you're having fun looking around. I know the site looks complicated, but it's really pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. I hope you'll start contributing information of your own when you can.

    If you have trouble with any part of the site or notice something that you think ought to be added, but you don't have access to edit that page, please hop over to the Suggestion Box forum and let us know!

    Hello, I didn't want to start a brand new thread, so I guess I'm going to end up bumping this one...

    My name is Naomi, @naomispeaks on tumblr. I've been interested in the revue for a long time, but I've only recently started watching DVDs and listening to the podcast. I don't have any favorite Top 'Siennes yet, but I do love Tenma Michiru from Flower troupe. I just love watching earnest underdogs who put on a good show.

    I perform as a drag king, and I consider the Revue my top influence. I wish I could be as sparkly and charming on stage as our dear actresses are!

    Hi everyone~!
    I'm Karo (short from my name Karolina). I'm from Polnad and newbie in Takarazuka. I haven't seen manny performence yet. My favourite actresses are Otozuki Kei, Ranju Tomu, Asumi Rio and Yuzuki Reon. I watch allmost what I find in net with zuka's actress or brought dvd with performences. I spend pretty much time on it :P
    I wanna know as many as posibble ppl interssted in Takarazuka, especially from Poland. There are anybody here? (Jest tu ktoś z PL? :)

    Hi!
    I've gotten into Takarazuka for ~2 months now, though I've known about it before. A shame I would say, as I've missed a lot of wonderful performances because of that.....
    This month I've seen a performance live for the first time. (Hana gumi's "カリスタの海に抱かれて")
    My favourite troupes are Yuki gumi and Hana gumi! But I also check out the other groups here and then.

    I'm actually not so much concerned about watching the performance in Japanese, since I'll probably choose something that I already know the plot to, but more worried about other factors like how to behave, the directions and ticketing issues, etc.

    PS: your nickname isn't from the FictionJunction song, is it?

    Hi ashura_n!

    Don´t be afraid to watch a show live even when you don´t know Japanese!

    Since 2009 I´m a fan and this year I travelled for the first time to Japan. I also watched RoV:Oscar Soragumi three times live and every show was awesome!! I didn´t understand it, but I know the anime from my childhood. So if you want to see a performance live, let nothing get in your way!!

    I don´t know if it´s too late, but there already is a subtitled (english) Elisabeth-Version (Tsukigumi 2005) from the TIP Team. They have 24 completed subtitled shows at the moment. If you want to know more -> Klick

    I just joined. I've only been into Takarazuka for about 2-3 months now. I first watched 『宝塚ジャポニズム～序破急～／めぐり会いは再び 2nd～Star Bride～／Étoile de TAKARAZUKA』 on TV, and I was throughly impressed by Kurenai Yuzuru, though now I call myself a Chie-sama fan. XD

    It's kind of sad that she'll be leaving soon, but I hope to be able to get myself more interested in the other troupes. I've always wanted to watch a Takarazuka performance live, but my biggest hurdle is the fact that I don't know Japanese, sadly.

    Hi there! I'm Ben from Australia and fairly new to the world of Takarazuka Revue. Currently fascinated with my DVDs of Hamlet, Romeo+Juliette (Yukigumi 2011 version), Roger/Rock On, as well as the Blu-Ray of Elisabeth (Yukigumi 2007 version).

    At the moment I'm adding (timing) subtitles to Elisabeth, but it's slow since I don't know much Japanese and sometimes have to resort to wild guesses from the German version of the musical (or worse, Google Translate). So it's very slow and probably wildly inaccurate, but a lot of fun. I'll share it if I can get it to a non-embarrassing state.

    These Takarazuka shows are amazing and I can't wait to get some more DVDs (I use CD Japan, they're great).

    Hi, I am an Italian girl based in Tokyo. I fell in love with Takarazuka just a couple of months ago at Versailles no bara-Oscar hen (I've been a berubara fan since I was a little girl). Now I am spending all my money and my husband's patience on Takarazuka. I still have a lot to learn, thank you for the wonderful site :)

    Hi My name's Luma and I think it has been months since I became a takarazuka fan,I was looking for opera clips from phantom or phantom of the opera when I came across a clip for Osa San and I was looking for that handsome actor who took Eric role to my surprise I found out that was an actress in Takarazuka since then I fall in love with Takarazuka and hold a great respect for all of them.my friend comes to my house to watch with me some of the shows though she doesn't know English but still we enjoy watching together.by the way I'm a big Osa fan till now.

    Hey all! Nyxie here from America. I'm pretty new. The first Takarazuka I was exposed to was Guys and Dolls. I love that show, period end of story. However, what really made me pursue more was Wao Youka's Phantom. I'm currently studying Japanese, and Takarazuka is a good way to study.

    Hi everyone, I recently crossed over into the Takarazuka fandom from the "white shirt" opera dyke community. I realise I'm not very original in this, but I too was lured in mainly by "Elisabeth". So far I've only seen the 2002 and 2005 versions in full but I want to see them all and I WILL get the sold-out 2007 DVD no matter what... Apart from "Elisabeth", I mainly enjoy the tuxedo dances, especially when they shout "hu!" and do their flamenco-ish moves...

    Hi All... I am Alison (from Australia).... I am a long term Takarazuka die hard. I first encountered Takarazuka when I was 16... My first visit to Japan... My host mother played in the Takarazuka Orchestra. Little did she know she was starting me on an expensive obsession. At the time, all I could think was "takarasienne ni naritai" ... Unfortunately I was also fully aware of my lack of any necessary skill. I returned a few years later to study for a year at university and reacquainted myself with Takarazuka (sadly I have only made it to 2 live shows... Hoshi gumi Elizabeth and Hoshi gumi west side story.... But am always jealously looking at the upcoming shows wishing that I could make everything fit in life). I have now been an addict for nearly 1/2 my life with about 70 DVD,s/ VHS - predominantly from my adored hoshi gumi with a smattering of other troupes for good measure :-)

    Hi, I am azumashio from Romania and I found Takarazuka 1 year ago, around april.
    It was my fate to find a 2007 Elisabeth clip on youtube. Since then, I fell in love with Takarazuka, not knowing anything at all about...This was repaired later, and I still need to learn, though I have visual memory.Elisabeth is my favorite musical so it's legit I know about Kacha as Elisabeth. I like also Saikai version of Todoroki! and A kiss of the flames where I spotted Kacha for the first time! She is one of my three favorite siennes, along with Teru and Mirio :D. I'm still a noob at managing my money and buying merchandise :D! I like a lot of siennes, but these three won my heart. Also I may seem I talk a lot, it's not like that at all :D

    I'm Gabriella (but I like to be called "Kao" more), I'm a hungarian girl, who found Takrazuka through Sound Horizon (because of Ayano Kanami and Star Troupe's Lancelot). Oh, and becaue I like trap-singers - and there are a lots of them in Takarazuka - and because I wanted to watch the japanese-hungarian co-prodution of Elisabeth (the one with Máté Kamarás as Der Tod), but didn't manage and found Moon's 2005 version of it instead... it was totally worth it! Like, for a while I watched it every day... that's why Ayaki Nao is just >the best< for me, followed closely by Kiriya Hiromu, Oozora Yuuhi and Sena Jun (not in order).

    I got into Takarazuka just a few weeks ago, so I'm a newbie here, but I hope I'll learn a lot about them^^

    Hi, everybody! I'm Irin, I'm new to Takarazuka, I started liking them around December or November last year when I'm watching youtube randomly and found Romeo-Juliette Hoshi~
    So far I'm having so much fun being Takarazuka fans and tbh I don't think I will ever stop being their fans at this rate XDDD
    I really like Asumi Rio and Rei Makoto, but my first crush in Zuka is Kurenai Yuzuru~
