    • TCA first Blu-ray: quality and region codes

    Hi,
    Yesterday, I learned that the TCA have started to sell blu-rays.
    So, I have 2 questions.
    - For their first blu-ray (2011), they sell some shows of 2007,2009... Is the quality really upgraded to 1080p or there is just some adds? (If the quality is upgraded, can i find an extract? (On Nico Nico Douga?)
    - Are these BRD zoned by region? (Because, for an example, the BRD of Miku Hatsune 39Giving Day works on an European platform)

    Most of the fans are probably older women who are kind of not crazy about new technology...that's my opinion. :D I know my mom is still hardly figuring out DVD's and computers!

    I'm curious about the blu-ray quality as well, but nobody I know has bought any!

    But they probably waited for the same reason they didn't upgrade to DVD/discontinue VHS until a few years ago — I guess they assume most people don't have the newest thing.
