Lost edits over the weekend
You may recall that the weekend before last I took the wiki down for a server migration. Well, the migration wasn't completed on schedule because it turned out it was going to take a lot more time than the initial estimate for the hosting company to move all their sites to the new server.
However, I received several advance emails letting me know exactly when the data was being moved, and when it was definitely safe for sites to be edited again. So there was no problem.
I understood that they would be completing the migration the next weekend (this past weekend). But then I received no specific information about it, so I thought the plan had changed.
It turned out they went ahead without announcing any specifics.
Any edits made on the wiki over the weekend while the site was still on the old server, were not included in the version of the site that is now running on the new server. I'm afraid they have been lost.
I'm very sorry. I wish I had had a better idea of what was going to happen so I could have taken the wiki down again. Please accept my apologies for any work you may have done that was lost, and I hope that if you are so inclined as to replicate it, it won't be too much trouble for you.
