England in the 6th century, a dark age. After the death of British King Uther Pendragon, the Saxons wage a brutal war to colonize the deprived country, and Merlin, a druidic wizard and prophet, must bring an end to the age of chaos. A long-held plan is put into action in order to install a new king, Arthur, on the throne. Arthur, who grew up as an ordinary man without knowing that he was a member of the royal family, is informed of his fate by Merlin, pulls out the sacred sword Excalibur stuck in a stone, and is worshiped as the new king of England. Arthur builds Cameron Castle and fights a great battle against the Saxons with his most trusted confidant and highly skilled knight Lancelot, and he meets Guinevere, a brave and intelligent woman, and falls in love with her. But...
