duet dance (デュエットダンス)
Most Takarazuka performances feature a duet dance, or pair dance, between two of the main actresses. In a show led by a top star, this dance is usually between the top star and the top musumeyaku. However, in the absence of a top musumeyaku, sometimes the dance is between two otokoyaku (possibly with one of them wearing a dress). In some cases there is a double pair dance (featuring two couples) or a triple pair dance (featuring three couples).
Due to the Japanese penchant for shortening long words, duet dance is sometimes shortened by fans to duedan or dyuedan (デュエダン).
