- The Grand Theater and Tokyo Theater both closed in 1944 due to the war. In 1945, the Takarazuka Movie Theater, and then the Small Theater (小劇場) were used in Takarazuka, but the Small Theater burned down on December 8th. The Grand Theater reopened in April 1946, and the Tokyo Theater in April 1947.
