- 4th image model of Ikeda Bank (April 1982 to March 1984), which later became Senshu Ikeda Bank due to a merger.
- In 1984 she was given a screen test for a TV drama, but the Takarazuka board of directors was not properly informed by the film studio and Kitahara was accused of building her own career underhand. Though she was one of the Revue's most prominent musumeyaku at the time, she had to retire immediately "due to illness". This is said to be the only case of retirement as punishment from the board of directors.
- She is one of the victims of the 1985's JAL Flight 123 disaster, the worst single-aircraft disaster in history. Asami Rei narrowly missed it.
- After Kitahara's death, there was a Kannon statue set in her memory in Gyokuhou temple (Minato, Tokyo). Every year there is a memorial service held, and her classmates and friends (Kuroki Hitomi, Maya Miki, Suzukaze Mayo and others) often take part.
