Forbidden First Love
In the Kamakura Market in Kanda, Edo (Tokyo), there is an alcohol wholesaler called "Sadoya." And in this shop is Osono, considered the cutest girl in Kamakura and Komachi.
One day, Osono meets Monji, a young man who peddles primroses in the neighborhood of Kanda, and love blooms between them. Osono's older brother Seibee says he will never allow a marriage between his sister and a lowly street peddler.
Although in fact, Seibee is not Osono's real brother.
Fifteen years previously, Seibee and Okaji were traveling entertainers who performed lion dances. When they ran away, they were rescued from wandering lost in the mountains by the previous owner of Sadoya, and worked there ever after.
It was the previous owner's wish that Seibee make Osono a good husband someday, and so he left the store to Seibee and Okaji.
Monji, on the other hand, is the second son of a silk wholesaler, but when his elder brother Seiichi was swept away to sea many years ago, he became a peddler to search for him.
Finalizing Osono's marriage arrangements, Seibee employs a bodyguard so that no one can come near her.
The night before the wedding, the two lovers elope....
Book of Sakura
Spring, at the moment when there is an explosion of blooms, the villagers are celebrating with a pleasant feast. Then, suddenly, the rowdy Uhyouei and Sahyouei come out from the castle and crash the gathering. And then they declare that the lord has ordered the cherry tree cut down.
The villagers, starting with their chief, desperately resist, but are routed by the rowdy young men.
In a hollow in the cherry tree there is a white fox spirit, named Hanawakamaru. Since Hanawakamaru's parents were killed by a hunter, they have lived in and been protected by the tree's spirit.
There is no way that Hanawakamaru will allow this tre that it considers its mother to be cut down, so it rushes to the castle to entreat the lord.
Sure enough, the lord grants Hanawakamaru's wish....
Eternal Cattleya
Set in a theater in Paris, resplendent with the French cancan. The show's main attraction is the duet dance between Lubian and Therese, until a casual mistake where Lubian drops Therese.
But next is Therese's high point "The Eternal Cattleya."
Her lover and manager Gaston gets Lubian fired. Therese, on the other hand, has an injured leg and is admitted to a hospital suffering from severe neuralgia.
Lubian comes to visit Therese in the hospital, and vows to never step on a stage again until she is recovered.
That night, Lubian hunts for a job. At some point, his steps bring him to a theater. He rejects the advice of Miranda and the other troupe members to return to the stage.
Therese's leg recovers completely, but she is still on crutches. She does this because she doesn't want her beloved Lubian performing with Miranda.
When Lubian comes to visit her, she drops the crutches. But to Lubian's shock, she says: "I don't love you. I feel only hate for you."
In sorrow, Lubian steps out to wander beneath the falling snow in the streets of Paris....
- Final show for Hanazato Yukari, Mine Kazuki, and Shiro Tamaki.
