Michael and Steve, childhood friends, were raised together in the backstreets of Chicago. One Day when Steve returns to his aunt, Michael must perform their two-person thefts by himself. Thereafter, the pair were forced their separate ways.

Ten or so years later, Michael rises as an underworld gangster. On the streets of Chicago, he is once again reunited with Steve, who is a newly appointed doctor in a Chicago clinic. Even though they each wound up in different environments, their friendship hadn't changed.

One day, Michael happens to meet Elly, a young lady to whom Rocky, the gang's Boss, has become close and intends upon making his mistress. Michael begs Steve to hide Elly in his clinic.

It was not only Rocky that was capitvated by her, as Michael secretly comes to love Elly as well...
