Questions related to editing and updating the TakaWiki in general

Take a look at the how-to guides linked off of the introduction and rules page first! Then feel free to ask (and answer!) any questions you might have here.

I personally like it better having them the full size, so I just remove the thumbnail bit from the coding.

I only noticed it on some of Ooura's top star stages and also a couple staff pages:

For example:
Prelude to Winter
Emblem of Venetia
Romanov Jewelry

http://caithion.net/takawiki/tiki-index.php?page=Shou%20Sumire
http://caithion.net/takawiki/tiki-index.php?page=Yoshida%20Yuuko

So basically pages that haven't been touched in a long while and it's probably just a leftover from the picture loss in 2011 then.

Any images missing at this point are probably a hold-over from when we lost images back in '11. Which ones are we looking at, here?

I notice there are still a number of images not loading. Are you trying/will you try to recover them or is it ok to upload new ones? I don't want to "picture ninja" those pages...

If you delete the thumbnail and box option from the link, the image will show in full size on the page again:

{img fileId="2"}

We could edit the instructions for adding images, or just keep the thumbnail option. Personally, I don't like the thumbnail option, but that's really just personal preference. The thumbnails option may help limit the free circulation of the full size images.

In any case, I wouldn't change the image size guidelines. The specified size is good enough to show a picture of decent quality and detail. After all, we aim to inform, not provide a platform to share collections.

Hi all. I'm still getting used to the new tikiwiki. It looks like as of right now when you upload an image only a thumbnail actually shows on the page. It's clickable and expands (example). Not sure how I feel about it yet, or if I should look into going back to the old way. If this remains, we will probably rewrite the image size guidelines. Thoughts?
