A glorious Japanese revue show to celebrate Kasugano Yachiyo receiving the Order of the Precious Crown, Fourth Class.
The Red Rose of Samarkand
A bright and fun tale of a bandit who has raised havoc in the desert, who then participates in the selection for the beautiful queen's bridegroom, and after many twists and turns he is chosen.
Ivun, a descendant of the magician family of Aladdin, dances about in a dream and doesn't work hard at his studies. One day his dancing is compared to Anisu's, and when she loses she becomes his servant. His angry elder orders him to train in Samarkand, and Anisu follows after him.
At the same moment, Hassan, the bandit of the desert also arrives in Samarkand, dreaming of a big job.
In Samarkand there are twin matchless beauties, Princess Fitona and Princess Haton, and a competition will be held to choose their husbands.
Hassan falls in love with Princess Fitona at first glance, so he disguises himself as an Arabian prince to become a candidate for her hand. Princess Fitona doesn't seem find him unacceptable.
Ivun disguises himself as a southern prince and also becomes a candidate. A shepherd prince who has also joined the competition is devoted to Princess Haton.
In the midst of the bridegroom competition, the castle is invaded by bandit and there is a huge uproar.....
