Calm Autumn Colors
Set in the Muromachi Period, this is the tale of the artist Kikunobu who saw Monju, the lady of the Rokujougosho General, fell in love, and felt strongly compelled to draw her. The General's man Yukimaru comes bearing word that his wish is to be granted, but warns that his life may be forfeit. In this Japanese dance show, Kikunobu is arrayed in crimson, Yukimaru in blue, and the pursuit of the dancing girl Monju is the theme.
Mayflower
This musical is set in 1620, aboard the Mayflower as it travels from England. It is a series of episodes about the lives of the crew and passengers. The trickster Jack has stowed away aboard the Mayflower, and is discovered in the women's quarters. He is saved from his punishment of flogging by the Puritan Marie. The first mate, Robert, is in love with Marie.
